Today we had to say farewell to Florida with much sadness because of the beautiful sunshine, warm temperatures, and quality time we were able to spend in the company of our family and friends.

Before leaving Destin, we walked the beach and had the opportunity to look forward and westward to our new adventures yet to come.

Thank you Florida Fam, we will be back soon!

It certainly helped that today we not only visited two states we both had yet to see, Alabama and Mississippi, but we also hit a huge milestone for our baby Scarlet.  She reached 200,000 miles today! 🙂

We celebrated in Mississippi, safely of course 😉

Tomorrow we venture to a city dear to hearts, down the bayou we go….hello New Orleans! We’ve got big plans for you, hope you’re ready!
